Job : Research Associate
Eligibility:
1. Education and Experience
a. A PhD with Zero (0) – Two (02) years of Experience. At least 01 year as a research assistant in a Think tank or similar level of the institution.b. Master’s degree with a minimum of Five (05) years after Master’s degree including at least 02 years as research assistant in a Think tank or similar level of institution.
2. Possess sufficient knowledge in the discipline to develop/carry out research.
3. Evidence of completed/ research publication record in high quality publications.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
5. Experience in teaching UG/PG level or capacity building.
Desirable Skills:
1. IT Skills:
a. Prepare reports and PowerPoint presentations using Microsoft Office.b. Manage social media (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn).
2. Stay informed about the latest social media tools and technologies.
3. Website management, analyzing social media performance metrics, and identifying areas for improvement can be an added skill.
4. Linguistic expertise in Telugu, Hindi, Sanskrit, or other Bhartiya languages is highly appreciated
Job Description:
The duties of this role are inclusive of, but not limited to the following:
1. Contribute to primary/ secondary research activities that lead to culture-guided public policy.
2. Work within a research team to undertake research projects and to support the research of others to deliver a research program.
3. Data collection, fact-checking, and analysis.
4. Preparing/ Assisting with manuscript or grant development and reports or presentations.
5. Assisting in developing resources for project management.
6. Follow research trends and best practices and meet deadlines consistently and efficiently.
7. Interpret findings obtained from research projects and develop new insights, expanding, refining, and testing hypotheses and ideas.
8. Undertake line management responsibilities as required.
