Round Table Conference on Education reforms in Higher Education

In February 2016 Samskruti Foundation conducted a very high level Round Table conference on Education reforms in Higher education which had been attended by various vice chancellors, deans, directors from various state and central educational institutes, universities covering total spectrum of education, this program was initiated by Prof Anirudh Deshpande,  advisory committee member to Union Minister for HRD on New Educational Policy is being drafted after 30 years.

Learn From Leaders

The ‘Learn from Leaders’ program provided an opportunity for students to interact with reputed people excelled in their fields. Students will grasp the details related to industrial/economic growth in and around India. These prominent people were senior executives, bureaucrats, scientists, business heads, sports personalities, professionals, artists or academicians.

Vote For A Healthy Democracy

Organized a state wide campaign to promote 100% voting. ‘Let’s Vote’ is the theme and the campaign was conducted in 10 different district clusters of Telangana. NSS Program Officers and Students actively participated and discussed the ideas to promote 100% voting. Participants were educated about the ‘Electoral Literacy Club’. Addressed the challenges of finding polling booth & voting process. Mock polling, skits, wall of democracy (a signature campaign with selfie and video message) activities were carried along with Q &A. Participants were educated about the ‘Electoral Literacy Club’. Important questions like — What is EVM, what is WPAT, and what is the importance and value of each vote, how to find out your polling booth, how to deal with problems in voting process, what are the important resources to address issues etc. were taken up during this interaction.  These participants in turn would indirectly be touching on more than one lakh people towards the cause of 100% voting.

The workshops provide a unique opportunity for individuals to grow, learn, and connect with others from different cultural backgrounds, demonstrating the foundation’s commitment to promoting inclusivity, diversity, and personal development.

A Talk On Re-Emergence Of India, That Is Bharat - Role Of Fifth Estate

Cultural oneness plays a crucial role in a country’s progress, said Smt Nirmala Sitaraman, Hon’ble Minister for Defence, and emphasized the need to recognize the unifying factor that maintains the country’s diversity. Speaking at a discussion forum on ‘Re-emergence of India that is Bharat – Role of Fifth Estate,’ organized by Samskruti Foundation in Hyderabad today, she said though not palpable, it is this cultural oneness that has been sustaining this nation for thousands of years. She cited many cultural practices and traditions that link the country from the four corners, from south to north to west to northeast. Cultural bonds glued families together, it is reduced to a disconnect due to technologically advanced but impersonal communication media and devices, Smt Sitharaman said.

A Talk On Remembering Cultural Nationalism - The Basis Of Our National Identity

Samskruti Foundation organized a talk on “Remembering Cultural Nationalism -The Basis of Our National Identity”, on 31st May 2015 in a serene atmosphere of Hotel Marriott, Hyderabad. The main objective of this talk was to encourage the intellectuals to take up projects for restoration of the Indian Culture. It is our responsibility and duty to preserve and pass on our rich and noble cultural heritage to the next generation. This programme is aimed towards the cream and intelligentsia of society or those who can impact on the thought process of the society – the leading industrialists, professionals, bureaucrats, educationists, artists and others who are celebrities in their own right. It is session intended to those people who have been exemplary by themselves – on the lines of what the Supreme Lord Krishna says in the Bhagawad Gita.
