Samskruti Adhyayana Kendra - Careers

Samskruti Adhyayana Kendra (SAK), is a culture-guided public policy Think Tank, founded by the Samskruti Foundation in 2019, based in Hyderabad, India.

The Samskruti Foundation was set up in 2009 with the mission - ‘To preserve, protect and encourage the practice of the Bharatiya culture and ethos through research, education, training, and dialogue’.

Given the vision of the foundation ‘To be a National Resource Centre for Culture’, the motivation to explore potential benefits that can be realized from linking public policy with our cultural heritage has been strong since its inception.

The Samskruti Foundation has made an incipient effort to identify strands of our national culture and history that can potentially influence public policy frameworks in the country.

Research domains at SAK

Fundamental to accomplishing the above mission and objectives of SAK, is researched insight and analysis of the culture of ancient Bharat that integrates the sociocultural and the politico-economic fabric of the Bharatiya way of life. One of the well-known thinkers of Independent India, repeatedly asserted that “human life is integral... It extends to the whole of the creation, ‘Vyashti’ – the individual; ‘Samashti’ - the collective; ‘Srushti’ - the nature; and the ‘Parameshti’ - the creator. There is an integral relationship in the creative processes, and this applies particularly to the relationship between humans and nature”.
As a policy maker, public servant, academic, or conscientious citizen, you are welcome to share your views and perspectives on linking our ancient culture to policymaking for the good of humanity.
