Job : Senior Research Fellow

Eligibility:

1.    Education and Experience 
2.    Evidence of completed research that has been published with a strong publication record in high quality publications.
a. PhD with a minimum of Five (05) years’ experience after doctoral studies including at least 03 years as a research fellow in a Think tank or similar level of the institution. 
b. Master’s degree with a minimum of Ten (10) years’ experience including at least 05 years as a research fellow in a Think tank or similar level of institution. 2. An established, recognized, and emerging reputation in the subject area. 3 Possess sufficient knowledge in the discipline to develop research programs and methodologies.
3. Experience in managing research projects and research teams. 
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
5. Experience in teaching UG/PG level or capacity building.
6. Linguistic expertise in Telugu, Hindi, Sanskrit, or other Bhartiya languages is highly appreciated.

Job Description:

The duties of this role are inclusive of, but not limited to the following:

1. Contribute to the development of research strategies that lead to culture-guided public policy.
2. Act as principal investigator or co-investigator on research projects.
3. Develop proposals for research projects that will make a significant impact by leading to an increase in knowledge and understanding and the discovery or development of new explanations, insights concepts, or processes. 
4. Actively seek new research funding and secure it as is reasonably possible. 
5. Generate new research approaches and identify, adapt, develop, and use research methodologies and techniques appropriate to the type of research. 
6. Review, synthesize, and interpret findings obtained from research projects and develop new insights, expanding, refining, and testing hypotheses and ideas.
7. Plan, coordinate, and deliver research, consultancy, or similar programs ensuring resources are available. 
8. Act as a research team leader including: 
a. Provide academic leadership to those working within the research areas of a team by agreeing on objectives work plans. 
b. Contribute to the development of teams and individuals. 
c. Act as a personal mentor to peers and colleagues. 
9. Undertake line management responsibilities as required.
